The applicants had to submit a project with a scope that covers one of the specified problems in the four designated research areas: new technologies of heavy oils extraction and refinement; new methods of fighting infectious diseases; industrial technologies of high potential; inter-ethnic relations and ethnic and social processes.
More than 900 applications have been submitted for evaluation.
Most of the winners are employees of higher education institutions.
The maximum annual funding per each allocated grant will reach up to RUB 6 mn.
